How does Kairos

handle absences?

We can’t build our Kairos Community without our students! That’s the only way we can help you grow into a self-directed learner, leader, and citizen.

Partial and Full Absences

At Kairos, A partial absence is when a student arrives after 8:20 a.m. or leaves before 4:00 p.m. A full absence is when you don’t come in at all.

Kairos excuses absences for:

  • Illness
  • Death in the family or other family crisis
  • Religious holiday
  • Doctor’s appointment

Late or Absent? How to Notify Kairos

If your child will be late or absent, please let us know through the “Get Help” form on families.kairosacademies.org.

Early Pickup? How to Notify Kairos

If you need to pick your child up early, please notify us when you’re on your way through FetchKids (App Store, Google Play).

Barring emergencies, Kairos does not dismiss students between 3:15 and 4:00p.m. Repeated early pick-ups will trigger a family meeting.
